day coming to the Coshocton Richard Downing Airport on Tuesday,
June 20th. The 41st Annual Women's National Air Race will make
their first stop at the Airport. It is the ONLY stop in Ohio!!
There will be all different kinds of planes stopping for fuel.
Come out and watch them land and take off. Planes will start
landing around 9:30 or 10:00 am. Will last till around noon
or mid day. One of the women pilots is Aerial Tweto from Alaska
and one of the stars of the TV SHOW Flying Wild Alaska. It is
a privilege for us at the Richard Downing Airport to host the
first landing on this Nationally known Air Race!!!!
“Lights Over Coshocton” fireworks will take place July 3rd.
Gates open at 5:00pm with music starting at 5:30pm featuring
the classic rock group “The Next” and Country Artist Bryan Lewis.
Food and fun for everyone! Admission $5.00 donation per car
03/08/2017 Now Business and corporate jets have a precision
approach at The Richard Downing Airport. This will bring them
down closer to the runway and allows them to fly in under harder
to view the new RNAV (GPS) RWY 22 document.
